To support the continued growth of our Energy Optimization business, we are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-oriented leader who can help shape and scale this strategic area across marine, industry, and energy sectors.
This is a key role at the intersection of business development, engineering, and project sales. Success requires the ability to build commercial momentum while earning strong credibility across technical and project organizations.
Your Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Build and develop a strong pipeline of energy optimization projects
- Identify new customers, market segments, and business opportunities
- Drive complex B2B sales processes and strategic commercial opportunities
- Develop scalable offerings such as:
- Energy audits
- Retrofit and propulsion solutions
- Performance-based energy solutions
Commercial & Technical Leadership
- Translate technical solutions into clear commercial value
- Develop customer-focused business cases based on:
- ROI
- Energy savings
- CO₂ / ESG impact
- Total Cost of Ownership
- Act as the bridge between commercial stakeholders and technical specialists
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project, and commercial teams across the group
- Support the development of a strong commercial foundation for future growth
Market & Strategy
- Strengthen Hoyer VMS Group’s position within energy optimization
- Support value proposition and commercial messaging
- Contribute to ESG and energy optimization strategies with clear commercial impact
Your Profile
- 10+ years of experience in project sales or business development within marine, industrial, or energy sectors
- Proven success in complex, value-based B2B sales
- Strong understanding of energy optimization, electrification, and power systems
- Technical insight into motors, drives, automation, or related industrial solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work across technical and commercial environments
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
- Professional proficiency in English
