Sales Engineer

At Hoyer VMS Group, we are experiencing significant growth, and we are currently looking for a dedicated Sales Engineer to join our office in Frederikshavn.
As a Sales Engineer, you will become a key part of our strong sales team, where collaboration, professionalism, and humor go hand in hand. You will play an important role in transforming customer needs into value-creating solutions within spare parts and service work, while contributing to our continued growth journey in the global market.
Your Responsibilities
- Specify and manage spare parts inquiries from both Sales Managers and customers.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations for spare parts and service work.
- Identify and develop opportunities for selling service solutions to existing and new customers.
- Ensure the correct handling of technical specifications and customer requirements already during the quotation phase.
- Collaborate closely with coordinators, procurement, and other internal functions.
- Provide support to our subsidiaries worldwide.
- Handle ad hoc tasks, including coordination and minor project assignments.
Your Profile
- Experience from a similar role – alternatively, a background as a marine mechanic or marine engineer.
- Customer-oriented with a strong focus on providing excellent service to customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Solid technical understanding – preferably within 4-stroke medium-speed engines.
- Experience with or interest in gears, thrusters, and 2-stroke engines.
- Fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
- Ability to maintain an overview of quotations, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
