Project Manager for Automation

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a structured and proactive Project Manager for our Automation team to join our office in Frederikshavn or Hjørring. You will take full responsibility for leading complex retrofit and energy optimization projects from early engineering through installation and commissioning.

This is a key role in ensuring successful project execution while strengthening our position as a trusted global partner.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle management of retrofit and energy optimization projects from initiation to final handover
  • Plan and execute projects including scope, schedule, budget, and resource coordination across engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and global field teams
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while proactively mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery and target profitability
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, change orders, and contract compliance, and provide structured reporting to management
  • Serve as the primary client contact, lead project meetings, and maintain transparent communication to build strong long-term relationships
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, maintain high quality throughout installation and commissioning, and oversee final documentation and reporting.

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience (automation or marine preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of automation and electrical design
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
