Key Account Manager – Internal Sales

We are a leading provider of energy efficiency and retrofit solutions within the marine industry, and as we continue to grow, we are strengthening both our project and component sales business across Marine and Industrial segments.

To support this growth, we are now looking for a motivated and structured Key Account Manager to join our team in Frederikshavn or Hjørring. This is an office-based, internal commercial role, where you will work closely with Key Account Managers, Project Managers, and technical teams to support and develop customer relationships – rather than being responsible for external field sales.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and Key Account Managers in daily internal commercial activities
  • Handle RFQs and prepare quotations in close collaboration with engineering teams
  • Follow up on quotations and maintain structured dialogue with customers
  • Build and develop your own customer portfolio within Drive and Control solutions
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across projects and component sales
  • Act as internal link between sales, engineering, and procurement to ensure smooth execution
  • Support pricing, cost calculations, and commercial clarifications
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and sales documentation

 

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in internal sales, sales support, or technical sales
  • Technical understanding of motors, drives, automation, or similar industrial solutions
  • Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
