Your Responsibilities
As an electrician/technician with us, you will have a varied and challenging workday, including tasks such as:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on large diesel engines in maritime environments.
- Troubleshooting and solving complex faults (both mechanical and electrical) on ships and maritime vessels.
- Working closely with mechanics and technicians in an environment where teamwork and knowledge sharing are essential.
- Participating in commissioning/start-up of Hoyer VMS Group’s ESS solutions.
- Condition monitoring of electric motors.
- Documenting your tasks and contributing to ongoing technical updates.
You should be prepared for approximately 5–10 travel days per month, both domestically and internationally, when assignments require it.
We Imagine That You…
- Are a qualified electrician, automation technician, newly graduated marine engineer, or have a similar background.
- Are skilled at troubleshooting and motivated to work with advanced systems such as regulators, engine control systems, and alarms.
- Have good IT skills and knowledge of MS Office, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
- Thrive working both independently and as part of a team.
- Are responsible and reliable.
Experience with maritime systems and diesel engines is an advantage, but not a requirement. Your new colleagues will ensure you receive thorough training!
