VMS Service Base Brazil
VMS do Brasil LTDA is situated in Rio de Janeiro with workshop facilities near the harbour of Niterói.
With a staff of Danish and Brazilian service engineers and project managers, VMS do Brasil offers service, repair and maintenance of ships, offshore installations and power plants in the South American area.
The well-equipped workshop in Brazil enables us to carry out cylinder head overhauls, honing of cylinder liners, overhauls of turbo-chargers and propeller repairs.
We also hold the necessary equipment for maintenance of all brands and types of marine engines; medium speed as well as low and high speed.
In addition, the necessary equipment for maintenance of all Caterpillar engines is held at the workshop in Rio de Janeiro.
Based on many years experience in Brazil, we have a local network of contacts and an excellent co-operation with the local yards. We can also assist you in the docking process saving you the cost of an interpreter.
