Finance Assistant
At VMS Group A/S, we are specialists in the maintenance and repair of marine engines. Our business is experiencing rapid growth, and while we are busy, we never lose sight of what matters most: the people behind the company. We are currently seeking a structured, analytical, and collaborative colleague to join our Finance Team in Frederikshavn.
Your responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping and processing of purchase invoices
- Follow-up on outstanding purchase orders
- Reporting to Statistics Denmark
- Preparation of balance sheet specifications and reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly and annual financial closings
- Daily ad hoc tasks
We imagine that you:
- Have solid experience in bookkeeping and finance, preferably a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Are professionally strong and hold a relevant financial or accounting qualification
- Have experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Any experience with Document Capture and Jobmanager is an advantage.
- Are a proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- Work in a structured, analytical, and methodical manner
- Have a strong overview and a broad understanding of accounting processes
