Finance Assistant

At VMS Group A/S, we specialize in the maintenance and repair of marine engines, and the waves are high both at sea and on our growth curve. Our business is developing rapidly, and while we’re busy, we never forget what matters most: our colleagues. That’s why we’re now looking for a dedicated, independent, and team-oriented colleague to join our finance team.

Do you have experience with bookkeeping and a desire to join an ambitious yet down-to-earth company, where collaboration, professionalism, and a strong sense of community go hand in hand? Then read on!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Daily bookkeeping and financial management in NAV
  • Handling travel expense reports
  • Accounts receivable management, including posting incoming payments
  • Accounts payable management, including processing payments
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (e.g., payroll, fixed assets, bank, VAT, etc.)
  • Reporting to authorities (VAT, Intrastat, Statistics Denmark, etc.)
  • Ongoing ad hoc tasks in the Finance Department

We imagine that you:

  • Have solid experience in bookkeeping and finance — ideally 5+ years
  • Are professionally strong with a relevant financial education
  • Are used to working in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including modules like Document Capture and Job manager
  • Are proficient in Excel
  • Have a broad understanding of general bookkeeping tasks

  • Comfortable with responsibility and able to work independently — but also thrive in a team
  • Driven, energetic, and proactive
