We’re looking for new marine engineer apprentices to start in January 2026 – people who want to join a strong team in an international company based in Frederikshavn.

What’s the job about?

As a marine engineer apprentice at VMS Group, you’ll be part of the daily operations at our workshops by the harbor in Frederikshavn. Your work will include:

• Engines of all sizes, turbochargers, gearboxes, propellers, and everything in between
• Repairs, troubleshooting, and assembly
• Service tasks – both in the workshop and around the world
• Metalwork and welding tasks
• Engineering and automation – you’ll even get to follow your own automation project from start to finish

At VMS Group, we’ve developed our own unique apprentice program together with former apprentices. It provides you with a clear and structured learning plan throughout your apprenticeship. We believe this helps us train some of the world’s best mechanics – and we guarantee you won’t be bored here!

Who are you?

We’re not necessarily looking for someone who’s top of the class – we’re looking for someone eager to learn and not afraid to get their hands dirty!

It’s a plus if you:

• Are curious about engines, machines, and technology
• Are energetic, punctual, responsible, and ready to lend a hand
• Enjoy teamwork
• Can handle both fun and busy days
• Speak and understand Danish and English
